This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage. This was part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.  This funding was used to purchase new laptops and iPads which are now available for flexible use within the school. Pupils use these devices to complete assignments and projects, and to maintain and update their digital portfolios. They also use them to access online resources to support literacy and numeracy. This supports pupils who may not have consistent access to computing devices at home, ensuring they can fully participate in learning.
